  • 1. Selection of local display pressure gauge
    1) For the common media with the pressure more than 40kPa, the Bourdon type pressure gauge is adopted. The degree of accuracy of the pressure gauge is Class 1.5 or Class 2.5, the joint thread is M20×1.5, and the diameter of its dial scale generally adopts Φ100mm or Φ150mm.
    2) For the media with the pressure within -40 to 40kPa, it is applicable to adopt the bellows pressure gauge. The housing of the pressure gauge is round or rectangle, the degree of accuracy is Class 2.5, and the joint thread adopts M20×1.5.
    3) For the measurement of crude oil with higher viscosity, the diaphragm-seal pressure gauge, diaphragm pressure gauge or spring tube pressure gauge with isolation liquid is adopted. The degree of accuracy is Class 1.5 or Class 2.5, the joint thread adopts M20×1.5, and the diameter of dial scale generally adopts Φ100mm or Φ150mm.
    4) For the pressure measurement of alkyne, alkene, ammonia and the media with ammonia, the acetylene pressure gauge and the pressure gauge for ammonia should be adopted.
    5) For the pressure measurement of hydrogen sulfide and the H2S–containing media, the anti-sulfur pressure gauge should be selected.
    6) For the pressure measurement of the media with strong corrosion, high viscosity, and solid particles or the media easy to crystallize, the anti-corrosive type diaphragm pressure gauge shall be adopted, or the blowing or flushing method can be used for pressure measurement.
     
    2. Selection of remote transmission pressure gauge
    1) For the pressure measurement where the output in standard signal is required, the pressure transmitter should be adopted.
    2) For the pressure measurement of the media with high viscosity, solid particles, strong corrosion and the media easy to crystallize or easy to block up pipeline, the diaphragm pressure transmitter with flange can be adopted (the temperature is not more than 200).  If the isolation measure is taken, the common pressure transmitter also can be selected.
    3) For the pressure measurement of the media in the place with severe vibration, the digital pressure transmitter is adopted.
    4) For the pressure measurement of the media inside process pipeline, the short-connection type pressure transmitter is a suitable choice. When the medium temperature is more than 120℃, the isolation vessel should be installed or the pressure leading pipe should be extended.
